Research exchange
Vulnerability discovery, exploitation technique, defensive architecture, and threat analysis discussed in the open with peers who do the work.
Aug 6 to 9: Meet us at DEF CON 34 — Level 1, West Hall, Space 1306
MEACS amplifies technical voices from the Middle East and Africa, encourages collaboration across borders, and holds a consistent space for learning, mentorship, and research exchange — all year, not just conference week.

Cybersecurity talent across the Middle East and Africa is growing quickly — spanning offensive research, defensive engineering, threat intelligence, cloud and mobile security, and critical infrastructure protection. Yet many practitioners from these communities remain underrepresented at major global conferences.
MEACS provides a hacker-focused environment where that work is shared directly with the global community. It is rooted in curiosity, experimentation, responsible disclosure, and technical knowledge sharing. The group is not about identity alone — it is about building technical community around shared security interests and research.
Vulnerability discovery, exploitation technique, defensive architecture, and threat analysis discussed in the open with peers who do the work.
Honest conversations about defending fast-moving digital environments across the MEA region, including critical infrastructure and mobile-first ecosystems.
Form CTF teams, open source projects, joint research, and co-authored disclosures with people across borders.
Offensive and defensive tracks, bug bounty experience, and guidance for students and early-career practitioners entering the field.
Sessions include lightning talks, collaborative discussions, open research conversations, and structured networking designed to spark long-term collaboration.
Our goal is a sustainable community presence that keeps fostering collaboration, research visibility, and technical growth year after year.
